Communist Network (Rete dei Comunisti- RdC)
The communist network (RdC) is a political organization that has been established on September, 13th 1998 in Bologna. It works closed with “Contropiano”, the newspaper which is an online paper and also a quarterly magazine.(www.contropiano.org)
Rete dei Comunisti’s aim is to inform the Italian society and fight for a new better society all around the world . His newspaper writes about National and International issues, and it develops discussions on several strategic themes such as:
- The analysis from a new communist point of view of the imperialism worldwide and of the conflict between work and capital in the nowadays society;
- The analysis and research on the new composition of the working class after the industrial restructuration of the 80s;
- The analysis of ongoing transformation of Europe into a new imperialist subject close with USA;
- The relationship and the knowledge of the political and anti imperialist movements worldwide. After the Foro del San Paulo (L’Havana) on 1993, Contropiano started to work hard on Latin America situation, thanks to the relationship it could create with some important revolutionary subjects. Latin America as a matter of fact, is demonstrating worldwide its strategic importance for the class struggle;
Contropiano also produces and draws up some important reflection:
- It has a large documentation on the social conflicts in Italy and worldwide;
- It gives solidarity with the bases trade union and write in its favour;
- It denounce the role that Italy has into the international stage, the Italian imperialism which is so much closed with the European Imperialism.
The Communist network is working essentially through three main fields:
First there is the theoretical work, on the class composition in the nowadays society, but also a continuing study of the marxist theory and of the geopolitical international question, based on several inquiries, books and discussions. Actually Rete dei Comunisti is publishing a specific elaboration on Latin America which is called “Nuestra America”, but it has also his own editorial house through which it draws up “the handbook of Contropiano” (Periodically these books cope with several issues such as the economical crisis, the environment and the Capital, the economic structure of an area of our territory,...)
Rete dei Comunisti acts into the Italian political discussion by speaking about the independence of the class, the socialist perspective and the necessarily of class struggle against the imperialist policies of USA and EU.
Second is the participation of the militants into the bases trade union, the metropolitan social movements and the student movement.
Third is the participation of Rete dei Comunisti into
several organizations, concerning International solidarity and anti imperialisms
struggle.
Rete dei Comunisti has built in these years several international relationships
with resistance movements worldwide, with anti imperialistic subjects
and other communist organizations of the whole world.
